Owners and Directors

Don and Carolyn Sedgwick own and operate Sans Souci year-round. Carolyn has inherited her love of both horses and camp life from her parents. Carolyn has been actively involved in riding and teaching for over 25 years and is a certified Canadian Coach. Don is a certified Canadian coach, an experienced rider, horse trainer, stable manager and competes actively in provincial horse trial competitions. Furthermore, Don's ambition and talent in carpentry ensure that Sans Souci's facilities are exceptionally beautiful and maintained in impeccable condition. The Sedgwicks have a daughter and a son, both who share their parents love of animals and the outdoors. Don and Carolyn enjoy children and camping. It is their belief that horseback riding is a sport for all children and that an association with horses greatly enriches a child's life.
