Every summer, Sans Souci operates a co-ed residential riding camp for children aged eight to seventeen years, featuring an eight-week summer, residential, camp, from June through August. The summer camp consists of four consecutive sessions of two weeks. Campers may register from one to eight weeks. Campers come from around the world to spend part of their summer vacation learning the skills and improving their technique in classical horseback riding and horsemanship. Campers live, work and play around horses throughout their stay, receiving two hours a day of classical riding instruction in addition to two hours of “hands on” practical horsemanship lessons through the care of their own horse. Each two-week session ends with an exciting horse show and demonstration put on by the campers for their parents. The limited enrolment of sixty-five campers per session creates a friendly, family atmosphere.
