Sans Souci Riding Centre Inc. is located near the village of Ste-Clotilde, in Quebec's picturesque Monteregie district. The centre is spread over three hundred and fifty acres of beautiful countryside, thirty kilometers south of Montreal.

History and Purpose

The primary objective of Sans Souci has always been to expertly teach the sport of English horseback riding in a safe, relaxed, fun-filled and friendly atmosphere. Founded in 1970, the Centre has long enjoyed a respected reputation as one of the most popular accredited riding camps in Quebec. The camp emphasizes fun and adventure with responsibility and co-operation, which makes a stay at Sans Souci one of the most exciting, healthy, and character-building experiences a child can have.

Accreditations

The centre is accredited by both the Quebec and Ontario camping associations as well as the Quebec Equestrian Federation. Sans Souci's high standards respect these organizations stringent membership requirements with regard to both the safety and the quality of programming. The camp has been classified as a four star out of four star camp by the Quebec Ministry of Tourism for its high standard of services, accomodations and site. Sans Souci's riding program and equestrian facilities have received high praise from the inspector of Quebec's riding establishment certification organization. The centre was one of the first equestrian sites to be certified as an Équi-Qualité teaching facility.
